Behavior Supports

Use the behavior support icons to tell children what you want them “to do” by providing visual supports and simplified language. Paired with preferred activity icons or images of reinforcers, the behavior support icons can also be used to increase children's participation in non-preferred activities.

Transition

Moving from one activity to another can be challenging for kids with autism and other developmental disabilities. Providing a daily schedule can help kids know what to expect from their day. The first-then visuals support children as they are moving from one activity to the next.

Token Boards and Reinforcers

Use token boards to reinforce positive behavior during routines.
